Gregory’s is the perfect place for your next vacation, reunion, wedding party or group get-togethers! We are a veteran owned and family operated small business that offers convenient accommodations close to Lake Shelbyville IL, state parks, fishing, hiking, and much more. Our general store carries anything needed while fishing, boating and camping. We are the closest possible lodging to the boat launch, Lithia Springs Marina, and Lithia Springs Campground, just 1/4 mile away. Located off the main road where the atmosphere is unbeatable. We provide complimentary Wi-Fi, electric hookups for boats, charcoal grills, and fire pits. Our covered pavilion and outside spaces provide fun areas to grill, play games, listen to music and relax.
Sanitation, health, and wellness are a top priority at Gregory’s. We are taking extra precautions during stays and while cleaning.
Gregory’s Lodging is now open for the season! The general store is open by appointment by calling or texting (217) 294-8501. Regular hours will begin April 17th, 2025. Booking is now available!

Front Manager
Annie is the second-oldest sibling and specializes in general store management, web development, communication and social media. She's a crafty gal that helps with our creative side.
Tasha
Tech Specialist
Since graduating from American University with dual degrees, Tasha has added a freshness to Gregory's. She is an idea machine, task master, and an IT genius (to the rest of us old people). She loves to camp, cook, and give Rich a hard time.
Mary
Builder
Mary works in the Decatur school district as a full-time Speech and Language Pathologist. She loves interacting with kids and helping at Gregory's over the summers! Organizing and locating lost items are her superpowers. The family's hard work ethic comes from Mary.
Jake
All Around Good Guy
Jake is the newest addition to the crew! You might have seen our resident redhead out and about over the past couple years. Now he is officially our 5th and most able-bodied employee. That makes him a builder, fixer, and general mover of heavy objects. He's also our freshest mind with bright ideas and a prominent part of our business side.
Rich
Big Boss
Many of you know Rich, even as Greg. He's the talker, the master of property checks, and a Navy veteran. Originally from Chicago (yes, the actual city itself), he has been in central Illinois for many years now. After retiring from Jewel Osco he turned Gregory's into a thriving general store and modern accommodations with his partner Mary.
